Blackice IRC currently has no support for user modes, moderation, or CTCP. Due to its verbosity, it is best suited for testing new IRC servers.

I was the first woman to start and maintain an IRC Network back in 1996 thru the next 15 or so years. If any old timers are thinking BikerBabe from irc.xworld.org ... you win. I'm still in touch with many of my IRCops, we have a couple of XWorld spots on Facebook to try to find more opers and old users. I got online in 1993 and did IRC from my unix shell account.
Tried this program on my tablet and it world not connect to a server. Could be a routing problem or who knows. I do IRC by command line, not by point and click. I was curious, so I downloaded a copy of pIRCh98s (windows client) and got right into DalNet and Undernet. Hadn't been on them in over 20 years, but not much has changed.
