A wholesome approach to healthy living.
Wholesome World is a collection of recipes, nutritional information and medical and lifestyle resources, all which have inspired Freyja and helped her focus on health and wellbeing.
A hugely personal project, this app was built by Freyja after losing her husband to abdominal Synovial Sarcoma cancer in 2014 and herself being diagnosed with a grade III/IV Oligodendroglioma cytoma brain tumour the following year.
Wholesome World combines delicious, home-cooked recipes and nutritional information for optimum health.
The app also has a selection of resources including medical information, other personal experiences of cancer and ways to reduce stress and promote wellbeing. It simplifies the research and effort required for anyone that wants to have control of their health.
Freyja hopes to inform people how they can prevent and overcome cancer-related health issues as well as improve general wellbeing.

Update: Finally no error while signing up. **I've had this app from the start, since the update, I can't get signed up?** PS: I am not using a regular email address like Google Yahoo Bing etc but that is nothing to do with the error I am receiving. -- You need to look into this ASAP as I cannot use it. **I have sent a more detailed report to your email along with a screenshot.** I hope this helps. Thanks (I received no response from the Dev which is extremely bad manners.) I am a lifetime user.

I recently installed this app and here are my first impressions. Overall a bad first time user experience. 1. Too much of downloading, and probably a really slow server, takes forever. How about showing at least something on the screen for the user (such as an intro or so), while the app continues to download in the background. Otherwise the user loses interest. 2. When the app is minimized, the downloading stops and has to be restarted. 3. With downloading content, prioritize what to download first. Maybe an initial screen asks 'Click al you are interested in...' and when those buttons are clicked/selected, prioritise that first. Or have a cutom package (with only a few items from each segment you have, say some ingredients, links, content, etc) that is just small download to start off with on first use of the app. 4. I've given up and uninstalled it. 4. Says

App is well thought out, easy to navigate, regularly updated with new ideas and intuitive. The ingredients lists are clear and easy to find whilst out shopping and the recipes are healthy, delicious and easy to make even for a live-aboard yachtie / non-gifted cook. Just get the App you wont be disappointed.
