I used to use Orpheus all the time. I had purchased the app then the author switched to a subscription plan stating that maintenance and new features took a lot of time. This stung but I liked the app enough to keep using it. However, I asked for 2 simple features to be added,a quick way to scroll pages and the ability to add song to a set list directly from the song list. The author rejected my request stating that the mission of the app is to remain simple to use. I have abandoned this app.

Orpheus is intentionally a minimalist app where new features are carefully evaluated and only added if there is substantial demand. Sorry we couldn't add the features you asked for, and hope you find what you're looking for elsewhere.

The app has a potential, but is currently lacking. The biggest problem for me is that the pdf files don't show up on SD card, the app does not see them. So on my Samsung Galaxy A Tablet with S Pen, I have to put the files on the internal memory, and then Orpheus can see them. The problem is obvious, my tablet only has 16 GB of memory and most of it is already taken. The whole idea is that you should be able to use an SD card. I emailed Orpheus customer support twice about it, and no response...

If you are a musician do not use this app. This app is not practical for practice, rehearsals or performances. It has crashed and deleted music 5 minutes before a performance. I should've uninstalled it after that but I thought it would be better if I upgraded. So I upgraded to pro and it deleted all of my markings on my music. Everything that I had written in my music during weeks of lessons and months of learning pieces. This horrible app has cost me so much time and has ruined my practice.

Sorry to hear you had a bad experience Amy. Please write to me with more details if you can, because it sounds like a bug causing crash in your particular setup - I'd like to take a closer look and try to resolve that if possible so that it doesn't affect other users. Thanks.
