About this app

Dividend Investor assembles your dividend-oriented holdings data for review in ways that are not handled by other apps. This is not a trading app, nor
does it have direct access to your online accounts. Some of the features::

• Be notified of total dividends to be paid on the current day;

• Be notified of new lower dividend amounts declared than previously paid;

• Be notified of late (based on your settings) dividend payments;

• Review total upcoming dividend amounts;

• View estimated total dividend income for current and prior years;

• View estimated future dividend income for the coming 12 months;

• View your own effective yields, in addition to the stocks’ published current yield;

• View graphs comparing your stocks’ cost, value and dividend performance either by individual symbol, industry group or sector;

• Sort stocks in ascending or descending order for any column by tapping the column heading in holdings screen (app remembers sort settings);

• Rearrange column order by dragging column headings in holdings screen (app remembers column order settings);

• Review summary information for a holding – current shares, yield, historical dividends and graph, and company profile info;

• Protect your data by adding a password, or fingerprint authentication for devices that support it.

The app’s Settings screen allows great flexibility in configuring the app’s behavior and appearance, and extensive in-app documentation and help is available for each screen.

No ads are ever displayed, and your portfolio data is kept private in an encrypted file stored locally on your device. (You have the ability to make backups and store them externally if desired.)

IMPORTANT: You must maintain an active user account with one of the third party data providers that are supported by the app, and configure the app Settings with an account public token / API key, for up-to-date stock info which enables the aforementioned features.

Watch the demonstration video linked here on Google Play to see the app in action, and see https://www.annealsoft.com/about/android-apps/dividend-investor.html for more details on the app. NOTE: Any reference to an in-app data subscription for this app is OBSOLETE.

If you have any questions or issues, please contact AnnealSoft using the Developer contact info in the Play Store listing details for this app, or by using the Application Feedback section of the Settings page in the app, before posting negative reviews - we will do our best to help solve them! Please include any specific symbols you are having issues with, if problems are specific to them.

I did my due diligence and read the description several times. Then went to the website. Nowhere does it give any indication of what a subscription costs. It only says there is a 3-day trial period. My previous dividend tracking app charged $10 per year, so I figured it must be similar and bought the app. Only to discover that the "discounted" subscription the developer refers to is $36 per year. That's over half the cost of Office 365. I have no doubt he's just passing on the data subscription costs, but he should be upfront about what the costs are. You can't get the pricing without first purchasing the app.

The price quoted in this listing for In-App Products or Purchases (in Google Play) is the price of subscribing within the app. (This is in the description).

Sounds like everything I wanted but doesn't support fractional shares. Thanks for the reply. I think precision to at least two decimals is sufficient. Example (1.23) I currently use Robinhood for fractional shares, but it is slowly rolling out and not everyone has access to this feature yet. I do understand you may not have been aware because of this. I will wait patiently as this app appears to be everything I want in a dividend app.

Thanks for the feedback; I wasn't aware that brokers were offering fractional shares. Please stay tuned while I investigate this. (What is the precision that you need it to support, or what is the broker offering them? Thanks!). Update: version 2020.06.04.73 now has this feature.

Took a chance to download the app and it's a dud. It won't allow the load of the ticker symbol and saids you have to purchase a subscription to IEX Cloud?

Hi - yes, a subscription is required, and symbols will be validated against the data once it is active. You can try it out risk-free by subscribing within the app for the free trial period, and then if you are still unsatisfied, cancel your subscription before it renews, and return the app for a refund. Let me know if you still have any issues.
