Despite the obvious name ("Key"), I was scratching my head after installing when, even after restarting the smartphone and the Google Play store reporting "Installed", no launch icon was to be found anywhere.
What was not understood by me (due to my overly-fast skimming of the description and routine-habit/mindless clicking) is that the green "Download Now" installs ONLY the "key", not the app itself (duh!).
Read the description (above) and use that URL to additionally install the actual app itself: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.marlon.searcheverything
Then an icon for launching the app will appear.
On first launch it indexes all filenames (not file content/text) both internally and on any installed memory card (e.g., SD) and, voila!, it works and is very fast, too!
It finds any string of text within a filename; i.e., searching for "994" will find a file, for example, named "645dh19947kj789" and any others that similarly match.
