STOCK SEARCH X is a follow-on app to Stock Search w/ more features & information. See features of Stock Search X below. NOTE: If you'd like to import your symbol list and position info from the free version of Stock Search, please use the latest version (4.6) of Stock Search to export (help->copy symbol list and position info to clipboard button). Then import into Stock Search X (help->import symbols and position information button)

USER TOKEN

A user token from IEX Cloud is required to use Stock Search X. A token can be obtained by going to https://iexcloud.io/cloud-login#/register and creating an IEX Cloud account.
Select the free "Start" plan when asked. You will be sent an email to verify your email address. In that email, click the link to access your API tokens. In the IEX console, in the left side column, click "API Tokens". The secret token (starts with "sk_") is the token you will paste or type into Stock Search X.

STOCK SEARCH X DESCRIPTION

Stock Search X is a stock tracker application with lots of features. Get real-time stock quotes and create a customized watchlist to display a "market watch" of symbols or stocks. See charts with even more information. Enter stock positions to track gains/losses.

FEATURES OF STOCK SEARCH:

REAL-TIME STOCK QUOTES, NOT DELAYED (just click the refresh button)

YOUR SYMBOL LIST AND POSITION INFO ARE SAVED TO THE CLOUD AUTOMATICALLY (USES GOOGLE SIGN IN)
Your entered symbol list and tracked position information are automatically saved to the cloud. When you move to a different phone or reset your current phone, your data will be downloaded after you log in to Stock Search X with your Google account again.

CHARTS
Show charts for any stock! View1-day to 5-years. View a chart by clicking a row in your list of symbols. Charts also show extended information like dividend info, PE ratio, and more.

SUPPORT FOR NEW SYSTEM DARK MODES
Newer versions of Android on Pixels and other phones including Samsung's phones have system-wide dark modes. Stock Search X supports these modes. Stock Search X also has its own configurable light/dark mode for the main screen (in settings).

SIMPLE AND DETAILED VIEWS
"Simple view" with basic data or a more "Detailed view" with much more data. Scroll tables left/right/up/down.

TABLE SORTING
Sort tables by tapping on certain column headers.

LATEST NEWS ARTICLES
The latest news for the symbols you select in settings. Tap a link to see the full article.

TOP TEN GAINERS/LOSERS/MOVERS
Show top ten gainers/losers/movers for today's gainers/losers and most active (volume). Click a symbol row to add it to your watchlist.

SECTOR ETFs
Show U.S. sector ETFs (https://seekingalpha.com/etfs-and-funds/etf-tables/sectors).
Click a symbol row to add it to your watchlist.

SEARCH FEATURE
Add one symbol or add multiple symbols at a time by separating them with commas. You can also search for a company by entering part of its name.

COLOR CODING GAINS/LOSSES
Performance indicators are color-coded so you can quickly determine stocks/symbols that have moved up or down the most during the day.

TRACK STOCKS YOU OWN OR YOU ARE WATCHING
Track your positions by adding values for positions that you own in the "Tracking Positions" page.
